Swedish Massage

 

Swedish massage is the most popular type of massage therapy. Swedish massage therapy is mild, moderate or deeper strokes on different part of the body included back, arms, legs, neck and other body parts to help promote healing while targeting pain, injuries, stress and stiffness using gliding, kneading, tapping, friction and light shaking designed to ease back pain and help relaxation.

Usually a Swedish massage will last for 60–90 minutes.

 

Deep Tissue Massage

 

Deep tissue massage is deeper massage than Swedish massage and  address chronic pain and injury. This therapeutic still relaxing treatment releases tension and pain and flushes the toxin out of body.

Besides, deep tissue massage helps release resistant knots for better range of motion in joints, muscles and tendons.

It focuses on damaged tissue and knots with its deep, precise massage techniques. It utilizes proper pressure to promote the healing of scar tissue, relieving the pain of soft tissue injuries, chronic conditions, stress and tension.

The massage will last for 60–90 minutes.

 

Sports Massage

 

Sports massage focuses on preparing the muscle tissue, relieving muscle strain, decreasing muscle fatigue and tension.

It can help improve performance and prevent injury - in addition to helping to maintain flexibility and recovering from injuries associated with physical activity by increasing circulation and flushing out the toxins which are built in the muscle after strenuous use.

The massage will last for 60–90 minutes.

 

Hot Stone Massage

 

Heated basalt stones, used in conjunction with Swedish massage techniques, radiate a soothing heat that encourages deep relaxation of the muscles and the mind. Once the stones have heated enough, some are placed on specific key points on the body and others are held by the massage therapist and used to work on the muscles.

Shiatsu massage works the whole body, but your therapist may focus on areas of your body that need extra attention. During the massage, your therapist will use their hands, palms, and thumbs to massage certain points of your body. Pulsing or rhythmic pressure is used. You can be fully clothed during this massage.

Shiatsu massages typically last for 60–90 minutes.

 

Thai massage

 

Thai massage is best for people who want a more active form of massage and want to reduce and relieve pain and stress. It can also help improve: flexibility, circulation and energy levels.

Thai massage works the entire body using a sequence of movements that are similar to yogic stretching. Your therapist will use their palms and fingers to apply firm pressure to your body. You’ll also be stretched and twisted into various positions. You can wear loose, comfortable clothing during the massage.

Thai massage lasts for 60–90 minutes.
